Post: How Physics Opened My Eyes to the Invisible World
Hi, my name is Prem. I am ten years old and I study physics. That might sound weird, but when I read the book Six Easy Pieces, I realized I had discovered something amazing: physics is a way to understand what’s happening around me - even when I can’t see it.
Invisible Doesn’t Mean Not Real
Atom are invisible. So is energy. So are these strange rules that run the quantum world. But thanks to physics, I now know those things are just as real as the ground I’m standing on. I read that particles can exist in multiple places. And we can’t know both the position and speed of something at the same time. That idea is called the uncertainty principle - and even though it’s complicated, it makes me wonder big things.
My Imagination Went Wild
After reading some chapters, I imagined myself shrinking down, smaller than an atom. There’s no floor, no ceiling - just a strange space where nothing is certain. Maybe I’d float past particles. Maybe I’d become one. That picture stays in my head and makes me excited to learn what’s next.
Final Thought: You Don’t Have to Be a Grown-Up to Love Physics
If you’re a kid reading this, I want you to know something: you don’t need to wait to learn about how the world works. You just need to be curious - and maybe a little brave - to ask weird questions. Because sometimes, those questions are the beginning of real discoveries.
Conclusion
Again, anyone can learn physics. Just be curious and ask questions. I hope you enjoyed reading this blog post. If you did, read my other posts. Thank you for reading!
